What happens if I don't respond to an inquiry or booking request in time?

It's important to respond to inquiries and booking requests promptly, as delayed responses can result in missed opportunities. Here's what happens if you fail to respond in time:

  1. Inquiries:
    1. If you do not respond to an inquiry within a reasonable time frame (24–48 hours), the mentee may choose to inquire with another mentor.
    2. Failure to respond to inquiries in a timely manner could impact your overall ratings and mentee satisfaction, which could influence future bookings.
  2. Booking Requests:
    1. If a booking request is not accepted within a specified time (usually 24–48 hours), the request will be automatically cancelled.
    2. The mentee may then be notified that the session could not be booked, and the session slot will become available for other mentees to book.

To avoid this, ensure you regularly check for new inquiries and booking requests and respond as quickly as possible. Regular communication helps build trust with mentees, improving your success as a mentor on the platform.
