How and when are mentors paid?

Mentor payouts on iknowly are processed through Stripe Express and are released once sessions or memberships are completed and confirmed.

All earnings are transferred to the payout method connected during onboarding. You can track balances and upcoming transfers in your mentor dashboard.

One-off session payouts

For one-off sessions:

• After the session takes place, the mentee has 48 hours to confirm completion.
• If the mentee does not confirm within 48 hours, the session is automatically confirmed.
• Once confirmed, the earnings become eligible for payout.

Payouts for completed one-off sessions are released weekly (every Wednesday) to your connected Stripe Express account. Cancelled or refunded sessions are not included.

Membership payouts

For memberships:

• Each session can be confirmed by the mentee within 48 hours.
• If no confirmation is submitted, sessions are automatically confirmed.
• Membership earnings are calculated at the end of the subscription month.
• If the mentee cancels during the 7-day trial period and receives a refund, no payout is generated.

After the billing cycle closes and all sessions are confirmed, the payout becomes eligible for transfer.

Where payouts are sent

Payouts are transferred to the Stripe Express account configured during onboarding. To avoid delays:

• complete Stripe verification
• keep tax information accurate
• ensure payout details are up to date

You can monitor completed earnings and payout status anytime in your mentor dashboard.
