Can I Share Files With My Mentor?

Yes. You can share relevant materials with your mentor by sending links through the platform before your session.

Preparing and sharing the right information in advance helps your mentor understand your goals and use the session time effectively.

What Can I Share?

Mentees commonly share links to:

  • CV or résumé
  • Portfolio or personal website
  • LinkedIn profile
  • Job description for a role they are applying to
  • Project documents or case studies
  • Files stored in Google Drive, Dropbox, Notion, or similar tools

Make sure the links are accessible and that your mentor has permission to view them.

How Do I Share Materials?

After you book a session, you can send links directly through messages on the platform.
You can also start a conversation from the mentor profile page once your booking is confirmed.

Sharing your materials at least 24 hours before the session is recommended so your mentor has enough time to review them.

Best Practices

To get the most value from your session:

  • Share only relevant documents
  • Add a short message explaining what kind of feedback you want
  • Highlight specific questions or concerns
  • Ensure links are working and accessible

Clear preparation leads to more focused, actionable mentoring conversations.
