Like many of you, when I first came to Germany for my master’s degree, I was full of excitement and a sense of freedom, without knowing much about the language and culture. I decided to stay in Germany after graduation, and reality hit hard: switching careers without prior full-time German work experience and searching for a job in an unfamiliar market was far more difficult than I had imagined. The language barrier, cultural differences, and the uncertainty of where I fit were overwhelming at times. It was through this experience that I discovered not only resilience, but also a purpose: to help others who face the same challenges I once did. Over the years, I’ve built a career in Learning & Development and Education, focusing on professional development, personal growth, and mental well-being. I’ve designed and facilitated trainings for international teams in Germany, always combining empathy with structure to make learning both supportive and actionable. Having worked in various environments, including international large enterprise and mid-sized family corporate, with different philosophies including traditional and innovative mindsets, plus using both English and German as working languages, I'm excited to share my experiences in fostering team collaboration and intercultural communication. I see iknowly as a great opportunity to help professionals in Germany — especially those starting fresh, switching paths, or seeking more belonging at work — to find clarity, confidence, and strategies that truly fit their journey.
